## Evidence limits / editorial cautions

- The TikTok transcript names Justice Hackland and refers to “three judges” of the Ontario Court of Appeal, but does not name all three appeal judges in the spoken transcript.
- The three appeal judges are identified from the official Court of Appeal PDF, not from the TikTok alone.
- This source-trail records public adjudicative participation and official case links. It does not imply misconduct by any judge.
- CanadianJudges.ca remains a public-record research site and does not publish private contact details or harassment prompts.

## July 21, 2026 update — advocacy graphic / sentencing-guidance quote

A user-supplied advocacy graphic was added to the source package as `advocacy-graphic-pat-king-judges.jpg`. OCR text says: “THREE LIBERAL APPOINTED JUDGES CHOSE TO TAKE A BITE OUT OF FREEDOM TODAY,” names Justice Pomerance, Justice Madsen and Justice Paciocco, and quotes: “A fit sentence must reflect a full appreciation of the public impact of the offences, as well as the scope, duration and persistence of Mr. King’s actions.”

Verified against the official decision:

- The panel is correctly identified as Paciocco, Madsen and Pomerance JJ.A.
- The quote is real and appears at para. 76 / page 33.
- At para. 73, the panel says: “While it is for the new sentencing judge to determine a fit and appropriate sentence, we offer the following observations by way of guidance.”
- The panel substituted a conviction for intimidation and remitted the matter to the Superior Court for a new sentencing hearing.
- The panel did not impose a prison sentence itself.
- The decision acknowledges pre-sentence custody / harsh or restrictive bail conditions, but does not mention “Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre” by name or detail those conditions.
- Justice Canada appointment releases confirm the appeal judges’ Court of Appeal appointments/elevations were announced under federal Liberal governments/Justice ministers. That is appointment context, not evidence of motive.

Neutrality boundary: CanadianJudges.ca records the official panel, decision text, source graphic and appointment releases. It does not adopt the graphic’s “bite out of freedom” phrasing as a factual finding and does not allege misconduct.
